Job Description:
A company is looking for a Substance Use Disorder Counselor.
Key Responsibilities
Lead individual and group counseling sessions with compassion and
professionalism
Design, manage, and document treatment plans tailored to patient
needs
Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and coordinate
aftercare plans
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in a relevant field or specific credentials (CAC,
CAS, CADC, CRC, LADC, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)
Bachelor's Degree holders without credentials are encouraged to
apply if committed to obtaining them within 30-60 days
Relevant experience in addiction recovery and/or
medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
Experience in behavioral health counseling, including individual
and group facilitation
Licenses or certifications must be obtained within 60 days of hire
for candidates without a Master's degree
