Job Title: Account Manager - Master Service Agreements Dept.: CSS
Division: Client Support Services Supervisor’s Title: Manager of
CSS Dept Positions Supervised: 0 FLSA Class: Exempt Job Purpose: We
are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to
drive the sales of Maintenance Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to
SLED customers. This role requires a strong understanding of
security camera and access control systems and the ability to
articulate the value of ongoing maintenance services to public
sector clients. Key Responsibilities: Identify, prospect, and
engage SLED customers to promote and sell maintenance MSAs for
security cameras and access control systems. Conduct targeted
outreach activities, including cold calling, email campaigns,
networking events, and attending industry conferences, to generate
new leads. Research and identify key decision-makers within State,
Local, and Education organizations to build a qualified sales
pipeline. Develop and maintain strong relationships with
decision-makers within government, municipal, and educational
institutions. Present and demonstrate the benefits and value of
maintenance MSAs to ensure customer buy-in and contract renewals.
Collaborate with the technical and service teams to tailor
maintenance solutions that meet customer requirements. Manage the
entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and
closing. Track sales activities and provide regular reports on
pipeline status, forecasts, and market feedback. Stay updated on
industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements
impacting the SLED market. Qualifications: Proven sales experience,
preferably in the security systems or technology services industry.
Demonstrated success in prospecting activities such as cold
calling, lead generation, and networking. Familiarity with security
cameras, access control systems, and their maintenance needs.
Experience selling to State, Local, and Education (SLED) customers
is highly desirable. Excellent communication, presentation, and
negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage
multiple accounts simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and
customer-centric approach. Valid driver’s license and willingness
to travel within the assigned territory Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

problems, and complete tasks independently or in a team-oriented
environment; ability to follow verbal and written instructions, to
maintain the confidentiality of data, and to accept constructive
criticism. Personal: Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal

skills; ability to uncover and maximize opportunity to sell NIC
Partners’ Professional and Managed Services offerings in a
profitable fashion; excellent listening, negotiation and
presentation skills; ability to identify clients’ business goals
and constraints, and manage your business and activities against
those goals and constraints; ability to build lasting customer
relationships; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
in a high-pressure environment, both personally and delegated
through staff; proven ability to work independently to identify new
customers and new sales opportunities in your geographic region;
high degree of business acumen and relationship development skills.
Strong interpersonal understanding demonstrated through
relationship building Communication: Ability to read, analyze and
interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial
reports, and legal documents; ability to respond to common
inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or
members of the business community ability to write speeches and
articles for publication that conform to a prescribed style and
format; ability to effectively present information to top
management, public groups, and/or boards of directors; ability to
influence and negotiate based on customer value. Reasoning: Ability
to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions; ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical
instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several
abstract and concrete variables. Computer: Ability to proficiently
use computer software programs (accounting software-Q360) and
related computer applications, Microsoft Office (Word, Advanced
Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and other industry-specific technology
tools used within the organization. Willingness to learn additional
software applications. Travel: Substantial travel is expected, with
up to 50% of the time spent traveling. Salary: Base $75,000 plus
