Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff-Side Habitability Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate must have direct habitability experience representing tenants (plaintiffs) in cases involving substandard living conditions, landlord negligence, and tenant rights. This role is strictly on the plaintiff side -only candidates with habitability litigation experience will be considered. Responsibilities Represent tenants (plaintiffs) in habitability and landlord-tenant claims. Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. Conduct client intake, evaluate claims, and provide strategic advice to plaintiffs. Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements. Negotiate settlements and advocate for plaintiffs in mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Manage a high-volume caseload while ensuring high-quality representation. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school and active member in good standing with the California Bar. Must have habitability experience representing plaintiffs ; landlord-tenant litigation experience is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of housing codes, tenant rights, and landlord-tenant laws. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced, high-volume practice. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
