Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting
opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide
maternity leave coverage in a school setting. This travel position,
located in Wilmington, NC, spans from December 1, 2025, to March 1,
2026, offering a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The role
involves working across two elementary schools and one middle
school, delivering essential occupational therapy services to
support student development and success. Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy evaluation, treatment, and services to
students in elementary and middle school settings Collaborate with
educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Utilize
evidence-based practices to support sensory integration, fine motor
skills, and functional independence Maintain accurate documentation
and progress notes in compliance with school policies and
regulations Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of
students across multiple school environments Desired Experience and
Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials
as required by the state Experience in school-based occupational
therapy preferred Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques
and developmental milestones Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families,
and school staff Ability to manage caseload and prioritize duties
in a dynamic educational setting Location: Wilmington, North
Carolina (Travel assignment) This position is ready to interview
