LocumJobsNetwork is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified
Neonatal MD in Long Beach, California, 90806! We are seeking a
board-certified Neonatologist for a 90-day locum tenens assignment
in California beginning on Dec 29, 2025. This opportunity involves
NICU care with in-house shift coverage, including day, night, and
24-hour shifts on both weekdays and weekends. Candidates must have
recent experience, an active California license, and NICU
expertise. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Dec 29,
2025 LOA: 90 days Provider Type Needed: Neonatologist Schedule:
Weekday Shifts: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (day shift) Monday-Friday
3pm-9am (night shift) Monday-Friday 24-hour shift (combining the
above) Weekend Shifts: Friday 3pm-Saturday 9am Saturday 9am-Sunday
9am Sunday 9am-Monday 9am Responsibilities and Duties Provide
high-acuity care in a Level 4 NICU setting Participate in a
collaborative team for 24/7 neonatal nurse practitioner coverage
Deliver in-house coverage for assigned shifts as scheduled Maintain
documentation in accordance with facility requirements and
protocols Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards
Complete prescreening and maintain an updated CV with all gaps
explained Additional Information Board Certification in Neonatology
required Active California license required Recent Neonatology
caseload experience within the past 12 months required Level 4 NICU
experience required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
