Overview: We are seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist to fill a locum position starting December 31, 2025. This role is designed for physicians who thrive in fast-paced hospital environments, managing obstetric cases with professionalism and compassion. You will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety, overseeing deliveries, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in Lancaster, CA. Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB experience Valid and unrestricted California medical license Active and current DEA registration Proven experience in obstetric and hospitalist care Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and handle obstetric emergencies effectively Nice to Have Skills: Previous locum or hospitalist experience Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Additional certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NRP Bilingual abilities (English and Spanish) Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics or hospitalist medicine Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus Other Requirements: Availability to start on December 31, 2025 Willingness to travel within California as needed Possession of appropriate state and national medical certifications Compliance with all hospital and state-specific regulations This position offers an hourly pay rate of $195.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive W-2 medical benefits, paid sick leave, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other eligible expenses.
