Job Description:
A company is looking for Orthopedic Surgeons for Utilization
Review - Remote (1099 Independent Contractor).
Key Responsibilities
Review Prior Authorizations for treatment using accepted medical
and healthcare guidelines
Provide expert, unbiased assessments while ensuring compliance with
ERISA/DOL and state regulations
Work remotely with flexible hours, completing most cases in 30-60
minutes
Required Qualifications
Must be an MD or DO
Must be Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Spine, Shoulder & Elbow, and/or Hip & Knee
is required
Must have 5 years of patient care experience in Orthopedic
Surgery
Must have an unrestricted Minnesota state medical license
