Job Description Job Description Structural / Civil Engineer In-House Position – Lake Forest, CA United Industries Group, Inc. (UIG) Design the infrastructure that supports critical water systems across the country. UIG is seeking a skilled Structural or Civil Engineer to join our corporate headquarters in Lake Forest, CA. This in-office role supports our Project Management and Field Engineering teams by delivering structural design, analysis, and technical expertise for bolted steel water tanks and concrete foundations. This is not a remote position. Candidates must be able to commute to our Lake Forest office. What You’ll Do Perform structural analysis and design for bolted steel tanks, tank structures, and related components Design and review concrete foundation systems Review structural drawings and calculations for proposals and awarded projects Support estimators and project managers with technical input during bidding and execution Recommend design improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and cost efficiency Collaborate with sales, engineering, and field teams to develop practical, buildable solutions What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required) Experience with steel structures (required); tank or concrete foundation design a plus Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Clear communication and ability to collaborate across departments Comfortable working in a fast-paced, self-directed environment Willingness to travel occasionally as needed Why UIG?
