Job Description Job Description HIRING - Medical Device Assemblers – 2nd Shift Pay: $21–$23/hr Shift: 2nd Shift Location: Carlsbad/Vista Position Overview We are seeking skilled and detail?oriented Medical Device Manufacturing Technicians/Assemblers to support catheter manufacturing and assembly in a regulated cleanroom environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, steady hands, and the ability to perform precision work under a microscope. You will follow strict quality, documentation, and safety procedures to ensure every product meets the highest medical device standards. Key Responsibilities Perform assembly of catheter components under a microscope with a high level of accuracy. Follow SOPs , Work Instructions , Line Clearance procedures , and all product handling guidelines. Comply with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) , current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) , and all safety requirements. Complete production training, including understanding travelers/routers and material identification. Operate production tools and equipment, complete required documentation, and perform equipment setup and basic troubleshooting. Conduct in?process inspections to verify product quality and integrity. Work closely with Engineers and Supervisors to support product quality, continuous improvement, and process documentation. Perform inventory counts and assist with other production tasks as needed. Required Skills & Experience 1–3 years of regulated manufacturing experience (medical device preferred). Hands?on experience in production, prototyping, or assembly environments. Prior experience with microscope work and medical device assembly strongly preferred. Experience working in a cleanroom setting. Ability to perform detailed in?process inspections on medical device components. Familiarity with lab safety equipment and cleanroom protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
